A search through the Central Intelligence Agency’s archival photography reveals the Agency once classified a picture of a birdhouse.

Was it the ingenious hiding place of a listening device? The most secretive spot on Langley campus? A masterwork of aviary engineering too sensitive to fall into the hands of the Soviets? No clue.
