This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A full copy of all contracts, written agreements, purchase orders, equipment lists and invoices between the National Park Service/U.S. Park Police and Total Recall Corporation regarding the recent surveillance system installation at the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Liberty Island.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Carlton Purvis

From: Wilson, Charis

Elizabeth,

Since this appears to have been handled by the USPP I'm routing to you for
processing. Please let me know if it turns out that another office, e.g.
Northeast Region contracting, needs to search for responsive records.

As usual, I've cc'd the requester so he knows to whom his request has been
routed for processing.

Thanks,

C.

Mr. Purvis

The final response to your request is going through the chain of command
for the chiefs signature. Once it has been signed by the chief it will be
mailed out to you. This process normally takes a couple of days if the
chief is in office.
Thanks
