To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

On September 3, 2020, The Tampa Bay Times’ investigative journalists published an article, “‘ TARGETED’, Pasco’s sheriff created a futuristic program to stop crime before it happens.
It monitors and harasses families across the county.”
https://projects.tampabay.com/projects/2020/investigations/police-pasco-sheriff-targeted/intelligence-led-policing/

The Tampa Bay Times investigative journalists uncovered an “Intelligence-Led Policing Program” launched by Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, vowing that the surveillance program would make the community safer. https://youtu.be/HBQFIngDXao

- Please provide a copy of the “Intelligence-Led Policing” (ILP) “manual” the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department uses, that the article mentions and which Sheriff Nocco spoke about.

- Please provide a copy of the 30 page statement, the Sheriff’s Department responded with to The Tampa Bay Times, defending the program and praising how it had managed to reduce property crime in the county.

- Please provide the name of the ‘Predictive Policing” software program that the Sheriff’s Department uses, the manufacturer of the software and the cost to the taxpayers to purchase the software program.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Sincerely,

Helena J. Csorba
