To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

The following documents related to the DPD’s CVE grant program, administered between August 2017 and July 2019 with funding from the Department of Homeland Security:

1) In the attached grant narrative report from the reporting period between January 1, 2018 to March 31, 2018, the report mentions that DPD's program coordinator and outreach community specialist developed cross-cultural communication training materials, including a section on “Refugee 101” describing:
"who a refugee is, the vetting process, and how past traumatic experiences could potentially affect refugees’ interactions with law enforcement."
I would like to receive a copy of this "Refugee 101" section of the training materials.

2) Both attached 2018 narrative reports also mention that the program coordinator and outreach community specialist administered law enforcement awareness briefings (LABs) to at least 70 officers. I would like a copy of all materials (PowerPoint presentations, handouts, etc.) associated with this LAB presentation.

3) All materials (PowerPoint presentations, handouts, etc.) associated with community awareness briefing (CABs), which are also repeatedly mentioned in the attached July-September 2018 narrative report.

3) Finally, the attached quarter 7 Project Implementation and Evaluation Plan (PIEP) document, on page 8 of the report, that students enrolled in Goodwill mentorship program increased their social competencies occurred at all sites:
(Percentages of increase at specific sites: 60% at Site 1, 68% at Site 2, 62% at Site 3, 42% at Site 4, and 60% at Site 5 (Median increase for all sites = 58%)
I would like documents that explain how these students’ social competence was “qualitatively assessed based on observation.” This would include:
Training materials provided to Goodwill youth mentors
Training materials provided to Goodwill staff members
All reporting materials provided to the DPD by Goodwill mentors, which was used to create the attached PIEP evaluation of student progress
Any other documentation of students’ social competency growth that was used to create the above PIEP determination of students in sites 1-5

So I received the dropbox link for the refugee training documents but the link appears to be broken (I keep getting an error message). Other then the dropbox link, I only see three attachments. Is there a different way to send the file?

Hi Ava,

We’re constantly looking for ways to improve the Dropbox experience. This year we’ve announced new features[1] , partnerships[2] , and the acquisition of HelloSign[3] . To support these improvements, we’ve made a few updates to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Here’s a summary of the key additions:
- Terms of Service . On June 11, we unveiled the new Dropbox. Our mission is to offer a robust collaboration workspace that helps users find, retrieve, organize, and prioritize their files, collaborate with others, and stay focused on their most important work. To better align with that mission and the new Dropbox, our revised Terms outline that our Services provide “features like commenting, sharing, searching, image thumbnails, document previews, optical character recognition (OCR), easy sorting and organization, and personalization to help reduce busywork.” We’ve also revised our beta terms to include a confidentiality provision and to allow Dropbox to solicit feedback from beta participants.
- Privacy Policy . We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to include more details on what personal data we collect and how we use it. For instance, our Privacy Policy now explains how Dropbox shares data with companies that it acquires (like HelloSign) and other ecosystem partners[4] that offer integrations for Dropbox users. We’ve also revised our Privacy Shield attestation so that data transfers from the UK to the US will continue to be covered by our Privacy Shield certification if the UK leaves the European Union.

You can read the full Terms of Service[5] and Privacy Policy[6] , which will go into effect on September 24th, 2019. You can also find our previous Terms here[7] . For more details, visit our Help Center[8] .

Thanks!
