Hi,

This is my first public records request attempt; is there any chance that SPD will follow through? And if not, what are my other options?

I’m likely going to pass a batch of similar (identical?) requests to other agencies involved in these operations; is there any reason not to do this?

I’ll be grateful for literally any advice you can offer. Much thanks.

I would recommended a phone call at this point. It’s possible that your request has been forgotten about or otherwise misplaced.

As for your second question, there is every reason to do that. The best way to find out more about a specific event is to file requests with whoever you think might have documents. Different agencies have different capabilities, and those will be reflected in the documents you receive.
