Pursuant to the Wyoming Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all documents pertaining to the Western States Rural Natural Gas Initiative, now known as the Western States and Tribal Nations Natural Gas Initiative. I would like documents pertaining to both of these initiative names, of which the State of Wyoming was and is a member.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Thanks for this. Sorry for the delay on my end.

If you don't mind me asking, what is this based upon? How does it take roughly 10 hours to fulfill this request, which in essence has two search terms? Can you break down how you came up with this estimate and provide me with that documentation as to how that calculation came to be? This seems like an awfully high estimate with almost no real explanation, so anything in that direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve,

This estimate is based on the volume of records requiring review in order
to create the production responsive to your request. The email search
resulted in 592 documents, not including attachments.

Please note that the fee estimate provided is just that - an estimate. If
creating the production takes less time than estimated, then you will be
refunded the portion of fees that was not expended. Likewise, if creating
the production takes more time than estimated, then you will be provided
the portion of the production that is complete and you will be required to
make an additional fee payment in order for the remainder of requested
documents to be reviewed.
