Current contract for the district superintendent.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Shawn,
The attached article was in The Westerly Sun on September 29, 2014. While
I am very pleased with Chariho being named a ³best performer², I did have
a question pertaining to the statement that we were a day late responding
to the requests for superintendent¹s contract or lay-off letters. I
reviewed my records and cannot find that we were late in responding to
either of these requests (we received the request for the superintendent¹s
contract on June 12, 2014 with a response sent the same day and the
request for layoff letters was received in our office on Friday, June 27,
2014 and a response was emailed to you on Monday, June 30, 2014. As I was
on vacation, our Human Resource Administrator was the person who responded
to the request). I would greatly appreciate it if you could check this
information as, being the ³custodian of records², I want to ensure that I
don¹t violate any laws. If The Westerly Sun inaccurately reported this
information, I would love it if you could let them know of the error.
Serving three separate towns means that I have a lot of people to answer
to!
