The "formalized and strengthened protocols that will apply for any future requests for suspensions of rail and bus services that law enforcement agencies make in association with protest activities," as well as any email correspondence created during the creation of this protocol, as mentioned in the following Sound Transit News Release:

Given our staffs' workload, holiday schedules, and the number of requests we are currently handling, we estimate that it will take another 4-5 weeks to identify and gather responsive records. We will contact you once we have completed our search.

Please be advised that Sound Transit contracts with King County Sheriff for these services. You may want to contact the public disclosure department at King County Sheriff's. Here is a link to that site.

We have searched our records and found 1 responsive document and the attached 4 emails. However, the 1 responsive document titled "Annex M: Civil Unrest/Protests" is exempt from disclosure under RCW 42.56.420(1)<http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=42.56.420>. This document provides unique and specific vulnerability assessments and/or deployment plans in the event of criminal terrorism. As such, this document is withheld from public disclosure.
