Firearms purchase attempts-domestic violence

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:

-Amount of people that have failed a background check when attempting to purchase a firearm from July 23, 2017 to the date this request is processed.
-Amount of people that have failed a gun background check and also are the subject of a court protection order, from July 23, 2017 to the date this request is processed.

This request is made in reference to a new law that requires domestic violence victims in Washington to be notified when their abusers attempt to purchase a firearm (https://broadly.vice.com/en_us/article/8xae34/this-state-will-alert-domestic-violence-victims-if-their-abuser-tries-to-buy-a-gun)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
