Pursuant to the DC Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of all courses in the Metropolitan Police training program that mention chemical munitions (OC, CS, PAVA, pepper spray, or 'tear gas' in general). Please include course names, hours recruits spend in each course, and any associated statistics (including but not limited to pass/fail rates and remedial rates). Please also include, with course names, the names of any agencies that sponsor, teach, or provide teaching materials for a particular course, including but not limited to safety materials provided by equipment manufacturers and trainings conducted by non-MPD personnel.

The requester is a journalist who will share information with the public—as such, kindly waive any fees if possible.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
