The City may be the custodian of at least some of the requested public records and the estimated fees are $1206.96. Fifteen business days after the deposit is paid, the records will be ready. However, they will not be provided until the final amount is paid. If the final amount incurred is less than the estimate, you will only be charged actual costs. If the work significantly exceeds the estimate, the City will contact you with a new estimate. The requested email search will be conducted on PPB's mail server which can search multiple email accounts with a single search and without identifying specific accounts. However, because of space limitations, PPB employees must archive their individual accounts therefore moving the mail to an archive file. Archive files cannot be searched en masse. If you want a search of archived content, you must identify the individual email account to be searched and an estimate to search that account's archive will be provided.
By paying the 50% deposit, you are confirming this estimate and agreeing to pay the cost of fulfilling this public records request according to the conditions set forth by the City.
