Good morning Mr. Fritz,
I wanted to provide an update regarding your FOIA request. During our search and review process, we learned that negotiations are still very much underway. As such, the documents responsive to your request cannot be released at this time. It is anticipated that the majority of award negotiations will be completed towards the end of January 2024. That said, I would recommend waiting until February to ensure its wrapped up.
This in mind, I would like to give you the opportunity to withdraw your request with no further actions required at this time, and re-submit your request at a later date. We already have the responsive documents in hand so it should be a quick turn-around once the negotiations are complete. You can contact me directly to provide an update prior to re-submitting your request if you like.
FYI: In your request, you referenced FOIA #GFO-2023-01386-F submitted by Learn Design Apply Inc. I informed them of this as well and they have agreed to withdrawal and resubmit. Initially, we thought the negotiations would be complete by November however, the processed has been delayed.
Please let me know how you would like us to proceed. If however, you would like us to continue processing your request, I will provide GFO's Final Determination, which will inform you officially of our inability to release documents at this time. Please let me know if you would like to discuss further.
Thanks!
