Regarding FA-19-1081, specifically what clarification is needed?

From: Army - United States Department of the Army

MuckRockStaff,
Good morning, it appears all the email response we have sent to you have gone unnoticed. You are contacting the wrong office and you have been doing this for a while. We try to assist you and be helpful as possible, but it seems that you don’t care. This action was never sent to this office, therefore we ask you to go back to the office in which you originally emailed your request. This office never contacted your organization or asked you for clarification. We simply have no idea what you are talking about. In addition that FOIA case number you provided is not a number we have used in our office. We are not the DA FOIA Office, and we have stated this to you voluminous times. The Department of the Army FOIA Program is decentralized and there are numerous inbox which belong to different offices or Commands. The correct inbox in which you need to contact is cc’d on this email once again not our office. No further action is required from this office. Thank you.

Very Respectfully,

Ms. Best,

We received your request dated June 4, 2019 regarding records, referrals, and consultations with
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and other components of the Department of Justice
regarding instances of unauthorized disclosures of information (aka leaks) for investigation
and/or prosecution between January 20, 1981 or the date of the creation of this agency, whichever
came first and the present.

As your request is written it is too broad and needs to be more specific. Can you narrow the scope
and let us know what Army activity or agency you are interested in. Also, is there a specific case
you are gathering information on.?

Please provide this additional information within 5 working days of the date of this email or we
Will have to close your request that we have given the following numbers to: FA-19-1081/FP-19-
020216.
