I am working on the initial search for your FOIA request for records
relating to methods of interrogation between 09/11/2001-01/20/2009. I had
some questions about this request.
Are you interested in records pertaining only to interrogation methods used
during the war on terror, or are you interested records relating to other
kinds of interrogations, such as interrogations by police?
Are you interested in publicly available materials such as press materials
and news clips to be included in your request?
Are you interested in mail sent to the White House from the general public
about this topic?

My primary interest is related to what has been called "enhanced interrogation methods" so, regular police methods are not of interest. Although I suspect the records will mostly be linked to the war on terror, I am interested in the general use of interrogation methods by federal agents and military where they go beyond merely asking questions and offering an attorney.
I am not interested in the public materials such as press materials and news clips.
I am also not interested in communication with the general public.
