From: Emma Best

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

a copy of the list or printout or database listing of Inspector General investigations closed/reports completed during calendar year 2015. If the list is organized by FY rather than calendar year, the FY 2015 list is sufficient for this request. If no central list or database exists, then I request copies of the cover sheet or first page of each IG report completed during calendar year 2015.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Emma Best

Dear Ms. Best:

This is an interim response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request received on August 26, 2019, seeking Army Inspector General records. Your request has been placed in the complex que due to the volume of records that may have to be reviewed in response to your request.

The Army IG Records Release Office receives a large volume of FOIA requests and cannot always respond to requests as quickly as we would like. Accordingly, we make it our practice to respond to FOIA request in the order received. The approximate date of completion on your request is December 26, 2019 or it could take longer. The actual processing time will depend upon the number of prior requests, as well as the complexity and volume of documents to be reviewed for each request received before yours.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact this office at (703) 545-4591. Should you call, be sure to provide the FOIA number 19-632 that we have assigned to your request.

Respectfully,

Ms. Thaleia Deramous
