This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All records relating to, mentioning or describing Inslaw Inc. or the PROMIS software. Including, but not limited to, records regarding a INSCOM's ~1984 visit to INSLAW to evaluate PROMIS for use in tracking background investigations for security clearances at Ft. Meade, Maryland.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I can guarantee you that your request has been tasked out for a search of records because I was the one that tasked it out to the other element of our command. Our other element is a little back logged but they are working on the searches. They work them on a first in first out basis. I apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused you.
