My request, which I clarified almost instantly was under 4 CFR 81, including materials generated in response to the request from Congress. While you may not have begun the investigation, that was only half of my request. Please fulfill the first half of my request, as it was written including the specifically requested "materials relating to the Trump Presidential Transition and requests from Congress to investigate the matter." Your explanation of why you are unable to comply with the request only applies to the second half, which was for "any materials produced by such an investigation. Please include all correspondence, notes and talking points. "
Please process the request as it was submitted, or at least advise me of my right to appeal your adverse decision to Comptroller General, as afforded by 4 CFR 81.
Note: A copy of this communication has also been sent to the Comptroller General of the United States.
