To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Records sufficient to show any plans/details involving the changing of phone and/or messaging systems used by the U.S. Secret Service.

Please see the following statement from the Chief of Communications for the United States Secret Service for more elaboration: https://www.secretservice.gov/newsroom/releases/2022/07/statement-anthony-guglielmi-chief-communications-united-states-secret - in which he states:

"First, in January 2021, before any inspection was opened by OIG on this subject, the Secret Service began to reset its mobile phones to factory settings as part of a pre-planned, three-month system migration. In that process, data resident on some phones was lost."

With this I am requesting any records relating to this system migration, including (but not limited to) the following:

- Any contracts and/or MOUs with supporting companies relating to this system migration
- Any user instructions/documentation/manuals relating to this system migration
- Any presentations (slides, video tutorials, etc) relating to this system migration
- Any timelines/calendar events relating to this system migration
- Any staff bulletins/alerts sent out relating to this system migration

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

J Ader
