This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All documents on, about, mentioning, or concerning Geoffrey Quentin McCaully Hubbard (aka Quentin Hubbard) from Clearwater, Florida. He was born on January 6, 1954 and died in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 12, 1976 with no registered Social Security Number. Proof of death is not required as his passing was widely reported: http://bit.ly/1FP25lf
Please search the cross-reference and ELSUR systems, in addition to the main Central Index, when identifying responsive documents for this request.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest due to Mr. Hubbard being the son of Church of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the controversies surrounding his life and the strange circumstances leading up to his death that has also been widely reported:
Additionally, the requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
