Emails 11/29/10-12/3/10 for Susan Viscuso (CIA)

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All emails to or from Susan Viscuso which were sent 11/29/10-12/3/10 including attachments.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

I appeal. First Susan Viscuso should have recused herself from responding to a request for records about herself. The request was very specific. Please process it.

I hereby provide further clarification for my request. If you are unwilling to process my initial request (which seems to contradict the CIA FOIA regulations which require you to clarify a request before closing it), I hereby submit a new request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I appeal. Through prior mediation through OGIS, I was told that the CIA would consider a single days worth of email to be reasonably described. To be clear, I am requesting all emails including attachments on all subjects where Susan Viscuso is the sender or recipient and where that email was sent in 12/1/2010. This request clearly describes the records in a way that the CIA can identify and retrieve them.

For this reason and any other the appeals authority deems appropriate, I appeal.
