Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Records relating to or mentioning Elizabeth Brackett (December 11, 1941 – June 17, 2018), an American journalist and political figure and writer. She was known for hosting WTTW-TV's Chicago Tonight program, and also worked as a correspondent for PBS' The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. In 1988, Brackett was awarded a Peabody Award for her coverage of the 1988 U.S. presidential election. Brackett was also a political figure, having campaigned for Jesse Jackson and made an unsuccessful bid to be a committeewoman in Chicago's 43rd ward.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
