Placed call to Tony Tucker his number and email are still listed at DHS as the I&A contact.
The number got me to someone else's voice mail.
Called the main line 202-343-1743
Woman told me number on the website was in fact wrong and I&A number was 202-447-4190
Called. Busy signal.
Call back the main line. (Mia Day [sp?] is the woman I'm speaking with)
Mia confirms I&AFOIA@hq.dhs.gov as email contact and refers me to Perscilla Waters [sp?] at 202-447-4883
Called Perscilla (she also confirms above email and informs me that she is the appointed FOIA officer for the department) I tell her about the specifics of the request, leave my phone number and advise her to send any electronic communication to requests@muckrock.com
She advises that she will get back to me by end of the day.
Perscilla calls back stating that she's found other requests from Mr. Smathers but nothing that matches the language in this particular request. We go back and for confirming the email and decide upon a resubmission. The below communication is the resubmission. Perscilla advises she will phone me upon receipt of the resubmission.
