FOIA No. 2018-000271 James Dziobek III
From: james dziobek
Good morning,
I would like to appeal this FOIA request and point out that my request was looking at costs/invoices related to the video planning/production and nothing else. Is it possible your counsel did not understand my request? I am simply asking for costs/invoices related to a video featuring the FCC chairman.
Best,
James C Dziobek III
From: Federal Communications Commission
Dear Mr. Dziobek:
This is to respond to your appeal of FOIA 2018-000271, specifically your request for costs/invoices related to the December 13, 2017 video featuring Chairman Pai. The agency has no responsive records that reflect the cost of the video. The video was created and recorded by the Daily Caller, who later published it. All expenses were incurred solely by the Daily Caller. Any questions about the cost of the video should be directed towards the Daily Caller.
We believe this resolves your appeal, and accordingly, we will withdraw it, unless you inform us to the contrary within ten days.
Sincerely,
David S. Senzel
