I appeal. I have no commercial interests in this request. I am communicating with you directly using the Muckrock email system. I am not paying anyone to make this request for me. I have no plans or agreement to sell the information and I am not making this request on behalf of anyone else. I make this request personally for non commercial use. I may use the results in a news media story, but am not yet certain. For this reason, I will not argue for news media billing on this specific request. However I do appeal the commercial fee category.

The FBI's Data Intercept Technology Unit (DITU) collects data for national security and law enforcement use. You can limit the search to components of DHS which would share in the mission of law enforcement and the identification of threats to national security.
