Pursuant to the The Kansas Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All animal necropsies/final pathological reports at the Topeka Zoo and Conservation center from the period Jan. 1, 2021 through Oct. 11, 2023.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

This is in response to your below Kansas Open Records Act Request.
Please be advised that the City of Topeka transferred operations of the Topeka Zoo to the Friends of the Zoo, fully effective April 3, 2021. The City is happy to search any records that it has from the timeframe that you identified, however, results may be limited because the transfer occurred shortly into the timeframe that you are interested in.
Please also be advised that Topeka Municipal Code § 2.10.030 through § 2.10.130 establishes procedures and costs for open records requests.
