Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Reports state that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation used footage from a Ring home security camera in order to apprehend a missing subject (https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/12/us/tennessee-inmate-captured-monday/index.html). Therefore, I hereby request the following records:

- Any external tips and internal digital communications including but not limited to emails and text messages) as well as documents, (including but not limited to PDF, word processing, excel, and slide documents) that mention or refer to Ring or the Neighbors app between Thursday August 8, 2019 and Sunday August 11, 2019.
- Any digital communications (including but not limited to emails and text messages) with Ring representatives between January 1, 2019 and the time that this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. It will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE’s science and technology website (www.motherboard.vice.com).
