Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of the Tennessee Fusion Center's itemized budget for fiscal years 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Hoover,
On May 10, 2023, this office received your public records request. It is our understanding you are seeking an itemized budget for the Tennessee Fusion Center for fiscal years 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
After reviewing your request with applicable personnel, please be informed that the Tennessee Fusion Center has a continuation budget. As such, in the attached "Fusion Center Budget" you will find year-end reports reflecting the actual expenditures and budget information for the available years. Based on actual expenditures for FY22, the budget for FY23 is $1,981,800. It should be noted that the Inter-Departmental section was reported incorrectly in FY20 and FY21 and should have been associated with a different department.
Please also consider this response to include your follow up correspondence regarding your public records request, originally received on March 13, 2023, pertaining to sources of funding for the Tennessee Fusion Center. We believe this document may also be responsive to this request. We apologize if your original request was misinterpreted. If you are seeking additional records, we ask that you provide more detailed information to enable us to identify the specific records being sought. Similarly, if you wish to obtain grant documents, please provide clarification.
