According to a press release on April 12, 2021, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, in coordination with the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, contracted to deploy CopLinkX software from Forensic Logic: https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/tennessee-to-deploy-forensic-logic-s-coplink-x-law-enforcement-information-sharing-platform-statewide-1030295108

Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All current operating manuals, user guides, and training materials for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's use of CopLink software.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

This includes training materials generated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

To the extent your request encompasses training materials developed by Forensic Logic, please be informed that we are restricted from providing such records pursuant to federal copyright laws. Likewise, while user guides are developed and maintained by Forensic Logic, we would be unable to provide said records under federal copyright laws.
