RE: My records request of April 8, 2013 (your identifier P2013-1105)

Dear Sir or Madam:

In an attempt to clarify which records I seek, I hereby narrow my request to the following records:

Memoranda of understanding (MOU's) regarding information sharing (the exchange of physical, analog, and digital data both public and non-public, gathered through Seattle Police Department resources and activities, regardless of transmission method) between Seattle Police Department and other entities (e.g., private businesses, trade associations, other police departments, fusion centers, federal agencies, etc.) and any agreements, binding or non-binding, to enter into or join groups, networks, or engage services providing information sharing of the same type. Information sharing in this context pertains to discreet information gathered about the public by the resources of the Seattle Police Department, not to information gathered internally about the Seattle Police Department for its own organizational, regulatory, or administrative reasons, and not to amalgamated statistical data provided to accredited academic entities for research purposes.

Cordially,
Phil Mocek

From: SPD-PDR, SPD
