Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:

According to section 12.045 of the Seattle Police Department Manual regarding the Booking Photo Comparison Software, Seattle Police Department Photo Unit Personnel must:
1. Retain all data associated with BPCS for a period of 42 months
2. Maintain a log at the BPCS workstation which records the following information:
Date of inquiry
Name of operator making inquiry
Name of officer requesting inquiry
Description of incident that satisfies all the criteria in this manual section
GO Number, if applicable

I am requesting this log and any associated metadata.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
