To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all records from January 1, 2019, to the date this request is processed, concerning election complaints forwarded to the county from the Pennsylvania Department of State. A spreadsheet obtained via a previous request to the department showed that in 2019, 1 election complaint was submitted to Schuylkill County, labeled "other." Responsive documents would include investigations into these complaints and the findings of the elections division.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Adrien Salzberg

Mr. Salzberg:

Attached are records responsive to your request of 10/22/19.

The ballot states at the top, the precinct, the date and which election it is. From the ballot attached, we have that it is for 120 Cressona on November 5th, 2019, and that it is the Municipal Election. The county row offices are stated on the headers to avoid confusion with the municipal offices. The standard offices for the municipalities on this election are Mayor/Supervisor, Tax Collector, Council and Auditor. The ballot also mirrors the same heading that was used for the municipal primary election on May 21, 2019 which the candidates and write-in winners received their votes. Every precinct in the county follows the same standard of wording for the offices on the ballot.

Pottsville McGeever polling location complaint.

Attached are the final report tapes from 11-05-19. The final closing time of the polls were 21:03. The confusion may have come from the building having two entrances. One for a day care and one on the other side where the polling takes place in the lobby.
