Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All invoices and receipts for payments for any contracted polygraph examinations (whether for hiring or for criminal investigations), between the dates of April 1st, 2022, and December 31st, 2023.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This email serves as acknowledgement, pursuant to RCW 42.56.520, of your public records request received January 16, 2024, seeking:

- The names of applicants for public employment have been redacted from invoices for pre-employment polygraph services pursuant to RCW 42.56.250(b), which exempts from public disclosure test questions, scoring keys, and other examination data used to administer a license, employment, or academic examination; and all applications for public employment, including the names of applicants, resumes, and other related materials submitted with respect to an applicant. See, also, Sheats v. City of East Wenatchee, 431 P.3d 489 (Div. III, 2018) (holding that polygraph results of peace officers created as part of a pre-employment screening qualify as “other related materials submitted with respect to an applicant.”) Redacted
