Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your response - just to clarify, so within that month there were roughly 174 doses that were wasted?

-Rachana

From: Department of Health

That is correct.

From: Rachana Pradhan

Hi Joseph,

Hope all is well. I wanted to circle back on this records request related to wasted vaccine doses.
The information you provided me about wasted doses in Rhode Island said there had been about 174 wasted doses. However, I saw that officials in late January said that the amount of wasted vaccine totaled around 300 doses at that point. https://www.providencejournal.com/story/news/politics/2021/01/27/ri-says-very-few-covid-vaccine-shots-have-been-thrown-away/4276936001/

Could you please clear up this discrepancy asap today? We are on an urgent deadline.
If possible, can you provide me with the total number of wasted vaccine doses in Rhode Island as of March 29, 2021, or, if not, as of February 28, 2021? Thanks much.

-Rachana
