Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any documents relating to the recent reappointment of Patrick Conley as Rhode Island Historian Laureate, including -- but not limited to -- correspondence between Conley and the Secretary of State's office about his reappointment, notes or documentation of Conley's February 2020 meeting with Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea (as reported by Ian Donnis in June 2020: https://thepublicsradio.org/episode/tgif-ian-donnis-politics-media-roundup-for-june-19-2020), and formal documentation of Conley's reappointment.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
