Our procedure is to locate records, review them for exemptions, and then prepare them for your inspection and/or copying. The undersigned will be coordinating with other divisions within the police department in the collection, review and production of responsive records.

If you department logs complaints in a database, spreadsheet, or other log, a copy of those logs in fine instead.Please include type of complaint (i.e. use of force, abuse language, unwarranted search) and the result of complaint (i.e. sustained, exonerated).

We have identified two officer shooting at a subject incidents in the past 10 years: September 2010 and October 2013. The incident in 2010 occurred in our city while the 2013 incident occurred while our officer was assisting another law enforcement agency. Neither officer received discipline as both uses of forcer were determined to be reasonable and in compliance with Federal and State law and department policy.
We continue to search for accidental firearm discharge and shooting incidents involving animals.
4. Which of the above data are published publicly? Please provide a link to any and all publicly available reports containing the data above."
W e submit data to crimereports.com. The date on the website is available for a six-month rolling period. The two incidents referenced in item #3 are not listed on crimereports as they fall outside of the data window.
We estimate the next installment to this request will be available on or before 10/13/2017.  If public records become available in advance of this estimate we will contact you promptly.  Conversely, if the police department encounters a need to extend our estimate, we will contact you promptly with a revised estimated date.
