Dear Dave,
The Reno Police Department has reviewed their records.  Please see below for our response: - The Reno Police Department has no records related to policies or procedures which discuss firearms on police motorcycles.
- Please see attached document for the contract as related to police motorcycles.
- There has only been one rifle that has been damaged. That rifle was damaged as a result of a traffic accident which the Washoe County Sheriff's Office investigated. There have been no lost, stolen or vandalized rifles.
- We are unaware of any risk assessment that was done in regards to the rifle mounts. If you have questions, please contact the Records Division (775) 334-2155 ext. 0. Respectfully The Records Division
