Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:
Monthly attendance data for students in PreK-5 Pittsburgh Public Schools from March 2020 to June 2021 -- specifically, we're seeking data for students, faculty, and staff who were present in a district building, who were present to attend school or work virtually, who were not in any form of attendance, and who were absent virtually or in-person due to COVID.
We would like this data for all K-5 schools in the district (Allegheny PreK-5, Arsenal PreK-5, Banksville K-5, Beechwood PreK-5, Concord K-5, Dilworth PreK-5, Faison K-5, Fulton PreK-5, Grandview PreK-5, Liberty K-5, Linden K-5, Miller PreK-, Minadeo PreK-5, Montessori PreK-5, and Phillips K-5.)
If you have summary reports or other documents that are likely to include largely similar information and are easier to provide, I’m willing to accept those as a substitute.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
