Pursuant to the Kansas Open Records Act (K.S.A. 45-215), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all calls for service, recordings, incident reports, investigatory reports, emails, communications and any other material related to the shooting incident that took place on February 22, 2017 at Austin's Bar and Grill.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

I received a fax from you this morning inquiring when you can expect to receive a response for the open records request that you filed with our agency on April 28, 2017. As you can see I responded to your original request for information on May 1, 2017 at 5:36 PM. My response was sent to the email that you provided on your original request. Perhaps there is an issue with your email server? Your request indicated that your preferred method of receiving a response was via email at the email address you provided, which is this email address that I used to send my original response. I can mail the information to the address that is on your form if there is some issue with receiving the information via your preferred method. Please let me know if you receive this email. If I do not hear back from you by the end of business today, I will send the information through the mail to the address that is listed on the request.
