Iowa Basic Skills Testing Scores

Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Iowa basic skills testing results including records produced that show aggregated test results and trends for the past 5 years, 2016-2021.

Such records may include:

A spread sheet with average or median scores by grade and subject for each year.

PowerPoint presentation with scores over time per grade and subject area.

Aggregated data provided by testing company.

If no aggregate information can be provided, individual test results de-identified. This is not preferred.

Please include percentile scores.

The Iowa testing is used to identify gifted students, per Oakwood school web site.

These test results will provide valuable data regarding school performance that can be compared to other states and schools, to identify trends, and assess district performance better than the state tests.

If this information is already publicly available, please direct me to it and if adequate I can cancel this request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Is it possible to have an update on this request and at least initial documents provided?

Does the district keep aggregated data that can be provided which would require no redaction and easy review? This data could be released first and other documents later as needed.

If the initial documents are comprehensive then that may satisfy the intent of the request.
