Good Morning,
We apologize for the delay. We have been inundated with requests and are working to processes each request in the order they were received.

We thank you for your patience. Attached with this email is a document which contains the information responsive to your request.

When reviewing the document you will notice that the total number of use of force incidents may differ than the total numbers under the type of force tally. The difference in the numbers is attributed to an incident having more than one type force used during the incident. For example: An incident may have started with directional control and ended with the deployment of OC Spray. The incident still counts as one incident but the type of force (1. Directional Control 2. OC Spray) would be counted separately under the type of force tally.

Recently, we implemented new software to assist our organization with the receiving and processing of FOIA Requests. For future request, we encourage you to visit www.nlrpolice.org<http://www.nlrpolice.org> and follow the FOIA link which will give you access to the new FOIA portal. However, we will continue to receive and process any FOIA Requests that are received outside of the portal in accordance with the law.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding.

Respectfully,
