To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1) Copies of all notices of transfer or assignment submitted to the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department since Jan. 1, 2015 for the following list of tax credits. If the department maintains a database(s) documenting the transfer of these credits (including transferee name, transferor name, and price paid), I would happily accept copies of those databases in lieu of the individual transfer or assignment forms.

- gricultural biomass tax credit
-Alternative energy product manufacturers tax credit
-Film production tax credit
-Land Conservation tax credit
-New Sustainable Building tax credit
-Rural Job tax credit
-Sustainable building tax credit

I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist (examples of my work can be found at toddfeathers.com).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Todd Feathers

Re: Request to Inspect Public Records
IPRA CASE NUMBER: 20-0639

On May 13, 2020 the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department ("TRD") received your request to inspect public records (IPRA). You requested that TRD provide you with the following:

Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1) Copies of all notices of transfer or assignment submitted to the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department since Jan. 1, 2015 for the following list of tax credits. If the department maintains a database(s) documenting the transfer of these credits (including transferee name, transferor name, and price paid), I would happily accept copies of those databases in lieu of the individual transfer or assignment forms.

- gricultural biomass tax credit
-Alternative energy product manufacturers tax credit
-Film production tax credit
-Land Conservation tax credit
-New Sustainable Building tax credit
-Rural Job tax credit
-Sustainable building tax credit

In order to thoroughly research whether we have records responsive to your request, we will respond as quickly as possible, but not later than 15 days from the time the request was received.
However, should we discover that pursuant to the Inspection of Public Records Act ("IPRA"), NMSA 1978, ยง 14-2-10, your request is excessively burdensome and broad, we may require additional time to respond, but will advise you prior to May 26, 2020.

Thank you,
