Good evening,
I am writing you in reference to our IPRA request dated February 22, 2015. In your request you were asking for "all data related to citations for marijuana possession". If at all possible I would like a clarification on what you would like.
There are a couple of options:

1. Statistical data for the time frame requested

2. Hard copies of the actual citations for the time frame requested.

Also for clarification, we also will only be able to provide you with statistical data from our agency (NM State Police, MTD, SID). We do not maintain the citation data from other agencies.
If you could get back to me as soon as possible so we can continue to work on your request.

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for completing my request. I have one question -- does the data concern all citations handed out in the state for years 2011-2014, or does the data pertain to arrests only?

Thank you,
Evan

From: Nieto, Santana, DPS

It is pertaining to citations not arrest. The only reason why it says arrests is because we had to research it that way. I’m sorry for the confusion. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us.
