Good Morning Ms. Oeser,

We are trying to accommodate your request however we are missing a key piece of information in order to give you an accurate breakdown. Can you specify if you are looking for the number of residents with gender dysphoria or simply transgender residents?
Thank you.

Thank you so much for this very-informed question, Laura! If you have numbers of inmates with gender dysphoria who are not transgender (for example they are non-binary or another gender identification etc.), I would greatly appreciate those numbers as well. Thank you so much for your help here.

From: Department of Corrections

Ms. Oeser,

Please see attached in response to your inquiry regarding residents in our facilities who are transgender (TG) and/or have gender dysphoria (GD). All residents listed who have gender dysphoria, also report to be transgender. As indicated, there is one individual who reports as a transgender woman only (no gender dysphoria). All other residents listed are gender dysphoric transgender women. They all live at our men's correctional facilities.

Thank you,
