In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

From: New Hampshire Department of Education

Jason:

The New Hampshire Department of Education is in receipt of your right to know requests. The department has a substantial backlog of right to know requests and will be responding to those requests on a rolling basis. I anticipate that I will be able to respond to your request on or before May 1, 2023. While I will search the NHED’s records for the requested documents, I believe that many of your requests are misdirected to the NHED. Much of the information that you have requested regarding instructional materials, academic dishonestly policies, communications with students and teachers is outside the scope of the parameters of the NHED. This type of information would need to be obtained directly from local school districts. Nevertheless, I will direct the agency to conduct a search to determine if any documents exist responsive to your requests.

NHDOIT prohibits my use of the file sharing “link” that have provided. Depending on the number of responsive documents, responsive documents will be either emailed to you or you will be sent a “Box” link to access responsive documents.

Again, based on the breadth of your request and other right to know requests received prior to your request by the Department, May 1 is a valid estimate of when the Department will respond to your requests.
