Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Documents sufficient to show the number of suspensions, dismissals, resignations, and non-renewals of certified employees by building in Metro Nashville Public Schools. The requested data is to be based on the academic years of 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023.
Please provide responsive records in an excel or csv file.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

We do not have a document or record to provide that meets the request. Information would be contained in individual employee files and not stored in a centrally managed database. TCA 10-7-503 (a)(4). This section does not require a governmental agency to sort through files to compile information into a new record or to create or recreate a record that does not exist.
Attached is a document related to annual turnover rates that meets a portion of the request.
