The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Prov. §§ 4-101 - 4-601 was sent to another County Department and received by the Montgomery County Maryland Office of Procurement by forwarded email on August 20, 2020. Your request under the MPIA is for: 1) All documents signed with procurement software or software that supports RFI, RFQ, RFP your agency uses from the years 2017 and 2020 and 2) Any policies, guidelines, manuals and/or instructions on the agency's procurement process, including information about the agency's RFP/RFQ thresholds. Regarding item #1 above, are you asking if Montgomery County uses an e-bidding system?
Due to the current volume of requests received prior to yours, it may take us more than 10 working days to respond to your request. We expect to respond to your request no later than September 21, 2020.
Please be aware that the MPIA allows the County thirty (30) days in which to supply the requester with the specified documents. This time may be needed to locate and review any documents that may be responsive to your request. If the County requires more than 30 days to respond to your request, we will contact you to request your consent for the extension.
Please also be advised that MPIA § 4-206 permits the County to charge a reasonable fee to search for, prepare, or reproduce a public record. The charge for the reproduction of a record is $0.15 per page copied. (There is no charge for copies if the total amount of the fee would be $1.00 or less.) This Office charges an hourly rate for any time spent by its staff to search for, prepare, and reproduce records responsive to a request. This rate will include the actual hourly rate for the staff member or attorney working on your request. For estimating purposes only, the average rate to be charged for a staff member will be $47.47. There is no charge for the first two hours of time spent working on a request.
