Pursuant to North Dakota Constitution, Article XI, Section 6, and the North Dakota Open Records Statute, N.D.C.C. § 44-04-18(1), I hereby request the following records:

-The Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification forms submitted as required to the United States Department of Justice for the years 2014 through 2016.
-Total civil asset forfeiture figures per year for the years 2010 through the date this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

As far as our office is aware we have not submitted any of these forms. The Ward County Drug Task Force Office may be a better place to check. Their number is 701-857-7613. I am also attaching contact information for the representatives for the program for each state. You can contact North Dakota’s for more information on the program.

The Minot Police Department has not received any civil asset forfeiture dollars that I am aware of from the Equitable Sharing Program from 2010-2017 to this date.
