To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking access to records related to the Zero Emission Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Council (ZEEVIC) Work Group meetings held since July 1, 2023. These records include agendas, lists of attendees, and meeting notes as well as any other related records. I am interested in records from both the ZEV Policy Scorecard Work Group and the Trucking MHDV Infrastructure Work Group meetings, as well as any other ZEEVIC Work Group meetings that have been held. I am also seeking any records announcing the Work Group meetings as well as any communications inviting attendees or potential attendees.

If all or any part of this request is denied, I request that I be provided with a written explanation that includes the reason for the denial, the legal authority justifying the denial, and my appeal rights. If you determine that some portions of the requested records are exempt from disclosure, please provide me with the portions that can be disclosed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your prompt response to my Public Information Act (PIA) request and for providing me with the estimated cost for fulfilling the original request. In light of the associated cost and to expedite the process, I would like to refine my request as follows:

I am now specifically interested in obtaining information related to the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Policy Scorecard working group and the Trucking Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicle (MHDV) Infrastructure working group. More specifically, I am seeking a list of the ZEEVIC members appointed to each of these working groups by the Chair, as prescribed in the ZEEVIC Procedures.

Given the nature of this more targeted request, I believe it will take less than two hours of work to fulfill. Therefore, I anticipate that there should be no additional cost associated with this revised request.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to receiving the revised information at your earliest convenience.
