Good morning,
Thank you for contacting LDEQ. For future inquiries, we ask that you submit a request by completing our online Public Records Request Form located at https://edms.deq.louisiana.gov/edmsv2/create-my-request. In response to your current inquiry, a formal request is not necessary, as the information requests is available via the LDEQ website and our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Concerning air monitoring data: Air Monitoring Data and Reports by year can be found here: https://www.deq.louisiana.gov/page/ambient-air-monitoring-data-reports

For the second part of your inquiry, official records created or received by the department are available online through LDEQ's Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and LDEQ employees are responsible for routinely submitting documents to EDMS.

LDEQ records are tied to an agency interest (AI) number, which is the LDEQ identifier assigned to any site, address, facility, etc. for which it receives records. In regards to your specific request, you can search for AI numbers specific to location, such as New Orleans. Attached is an AI Lookup Factsheet to assist you with finding specific AI numbers.

You can view the documents for the AI numbers by following these steps:

EDMS - Quick Search

1) Go to https://edms.deq.louisiana.gov/edmsv2/quick-search

2) In the Quick Search Bar enter the AI number.

3) Click Search.

4) The results that display will list all the related documents available in our EDMS. Use the Filter By column to refine your search results as appropriate (e.g. Media)

5) To open and review each document, please click on the Document ID link.

In addition, you may find some of the information you are looking for located on the LDEQ website: https://deq.louisiana.gov.

Please review the information provided at the DEQ website, the link above, and within the EDMS system. If after review you need additional information, we ask that you please narrow your search to specific search terms or in any other way that could help us more readily identify the records you are seeking and submit your request via the public records request form located at https://edms.deq.louisiana.gov/edmsv2/create-my-request.
