Hello Gregory,

This will confirm the King County Department of Public Health is in receipt of your September 3 records request. We are responding to it on behalf of the King County Department of Public Health only per King County Code 2.12.005 and 2.12.230(B). Your request has been assigned tracking number G001856-090820.

I wanted to clarify a couple of parameters for your search. When you said you wanted "@mckesson.com" as a search term, we are interpreting this as a request for communications between King County Public Health and the domain "@mckesson.com" for the terms "Covid-19" OR "vaccine". In other words, we would search all Public Health mailboxes with "@mckesson.com" as the participant to the emails with the key word search terms "Covid-19" OR "vaccine" rather than including "@mckesson.com" as a search term. If this is incorrect, please let me know by Sept. 28, otherwise, we will run the search with "@mckesson.com" as the participant. Additionally, I believe McKesson provides other medical equipment. Are you only looking for records about vaccines or do you want anything about Covid-19 regardless of the medical equipment mentioned?

Please be aware that we have received and continue to receive an extremely large number of COVID-related requests, and we are experiencing slower than normal processing times. I expect to provide you with an update or initial installment in approximately 8 weeks, but we will release records earlier, if possible. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Hi Julie,

Thanks so much for your help with this request. Yes, that search structure you laid out is perfect. And totally fine to limit to vaccine-specific records (hopefully that will narrow things down)!

All the best,
Greg
